|The Children’s Room offers regular literacy programs for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, as well as special program throughout the year such as our summer reading challenge, nature and science programs and book events. Our regular school year programs engage our youngest museum patrons through stories, songs, games, and crafts. For toddlers our story hour promotes speech and listening skills though repetition and fun challenges. Our preschool program assists in the development of early social and behavioral skills essential for schooling. Conjuring Carroll Buildings Block Magic Show

Magician Conjuring Carroll will perform a spectacular magic show for kids of all ages. This show will be the finale for our summer reading program "Building a Better World".

The Pokemon League meets Thursday evenings 4:30-6:00 p.m. in the Deering Room.
A Pokemon League provides a nearby place for you to get together with other fans of the Pokemon Trading Card Game and have some fun. Using your own cards you can play, trade, and even earn cool prizes! The best part is that you can do all this with other Pokemon players who love collecting and playing just as much as you do.

This special program for kids 18 months to three years old includes finger plays, songs, sign language, movement and stories with social time for parents and play time for children afterwards. LITTLE WIGGLER BOOKS AND BABIES
