Please join us for this special, small lecture series focusing in on our major exhibition, In a Place by Himself: The Graphic World of Winslow Homer, on view through November 14. On September 10 at 6 p.m. we welcome Peter Hornby, publisher of "Winslow Homer in England" (2004) for a talk in the museum's galleries.

Please join us for this special, small lecture series focusing in on our major exhibition, In a Place by Himself: The Graphic World of Winslow Homer, on view through November 14. On Friday, September 17, we welcome Thomas A. Denenberge, Chief Curator and Deputy Director of the Portland Museum of Art, to speak about Winslow Homer's work in Maine. The exhibition will be open both before and after the lecture.
