MAKE A SPLASH--READ! Dyer Library's Youth Services' Summer Reading Program 2010
We are ‘pulling out all the stops’ to deliver an exciting reading program filled ‘to the brim’ with ‘sparkling fresh’ activities around this year’s watery theme. You can come for our weekly story times, our special water, beach and wetland programs, our young adult activities, or just to pick up some books to read during our seven week-long K-8 Reading Game. Whatever the age, we well have something for you and your kids. Click on the header above for more details about our great schedule of events.

SUMMERTIME, STORYTIME
Dyer Library's weekly storytime for kids 4-8 and their grown-ups, featuring watery books, stories, songs and activities related to each different weekly topic of our Summer Reading theme. We will have crafts some weeks, special activites on others, and we may meet outside as the weather allows. Come join in our summery fun!

GIGGLE AND GROW STORYTIME
This summer storytime series will include items of interest to our youngest patrons, ages Birth through 3 years, and their caretakers. Songs, rhymes and brief stories will bring smiles and delight to your little ones, while stimulating their sense of rhythm, language and social engagement. a social time will follow for all.

PASTELS AND DRAWING CLASS WITH TIMOTHY PARKS
Tuesdays, July 6, 13, 20, 27, and August 3, 10, 17, 24 , 12:30-4 p.m
Hands-on pastels and drawing class taught by prize-winning pastel artist Timothy Parks. This class is for both beginners and experienced artists. Students will enjoy demonstrations and individual attention while learning drawing, pastels, or both! Classes are $40 per 4-week session. WATERCOLOR CLASSES WITH JUDITH KINSMAN

Pet Food for Fines
Pet food and supplies for fines at the Dyer Library!

Bring in a donation for the Animal Welfare Society of Kennebunk between Monday, July 26 and Saturday, August 6 and your outstanding fines will be deleted!

Donations will be accepted during regular library hours.

GIANT BOOK SALE!
Our annual book sale and fundraiser is back and bigger than ever! Come early and come often to get the best books and the best bargains. All proceeds benefit the Dyer Library and Saco Museum.

Our oh-so oceanic pajama storytime-party, where great books, songs and games will await you on the shores of 'Library Beach'.
Wear your favorite sleep/swimwear and bring a beach towel . Refreshments, prizes for best outfits, and much shoreline fun!
